Job Description
One of our clients is seeking a Network Engineer 4 to lead and coordinate statewide LiveScan procurements, installations, and network integrations . This role will require extensive collaboration with agencies, IT suppliers, and state technical personnel to implement LiveScan systems and ensure proper network connectivity between cloud-based LiveScan servers and agency systems .
The selected candidate must be able to troubleshoot network and hardware / software issues, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and provide technical support for network administration, DHCP, DNS, routers, and firewalls .
This is a full-time, on-site position , requiring candidates to be available for in-person interviews and on-site work five days per week .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate procurement and installation of LiveScans across the state.
- Advise agencies on defining LiveScan equipment and network requirements .
- Assist agencies in upgrading existing equipment to maintain compatibility with cloud-based LiveScan servers .
- Create and manage network connectivity between LiveScan servers and agency systems .
- Work with IT suppliers, state IT personnel, and agency staff to integrate LiveScan servers with existing systems .
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues related to LiveScan implementations .
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects , ensuring they align with agency objectives and technical requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support network and IT operations .

Requirements
Experience gathering business requirements from internal and external stakeholders – 5 years Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint – 5 years Experience creating, managing, and tracing business and IT requirements – 5 years Ability to facilitate brainstorming sessions, lead discussions, and drive teams toward defined goals – 5 years Experience working in a PMO or managing multiple simultaneous projects – 5 years Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data and information and present findings clearly – 5 years Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and effectively multi-task – 5 years Experience generating project reports (status updates, dashboards, budgets, etc.) – 3 years Experience working on Agile project teams – 3 years Self-starter with an inquisitive nature and a problem-solving mindset – 5 years Experience working with Medicaid IT and / or Healthcare systems – 3 years PMP or other project management certification Additional Information Work Location : Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) – parking NOT provided.
