Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Installing and removing pipe plugs
Operating and maintaining water pumps
Descend into water with the aid of diver helpers using scuba gear or diving suits.
Take appropriate precautions such as monitoring work areas and dive lengths/depths to ensure safety compliance.
Communicate with coworkers on the surface while underwater using signal lines and coms.
Inspect the condition of underwater storm drains/structures.
Communicate with repair team to coordinate installations and repairs.
Check, clean and maintain diving equipment, parts, and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
Train and supervise other divers on operational procedures.
Operate cranes, hoists, and other moving or lifting equipment.
Working Conditions:
Frequently required to work in dark, confined spaces.
Exposure to elements including weather, wildlife, debris, etc.
Job Requirements:
Commercial Dive Certification required.
Previous Black Water diving experience required.
Personal full-body wetsuit required.
Familiarity with dredging preferred.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
Experience working on non-engine automotive or vehicle components a plus.
Salary : $25 - $27
