Join Our Team as a Shop Helper!   Location: 390 E Gish Road, San Jose, CA 95112 Starting Pay: $22 per hour Hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 7:30pm; some overtime may be required due to business needs   Job Summary: Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined Shop Helper to join our team. If you’re organized, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!   Key Responsibilities as a Shop Helper: Process and track parts that have been placed on order.   Prioritize multiple parts pick‐up and deliveries.   Ability to respond to emergency pick‐up and delivery.   Pays attention to details and observe safety precautions.  Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.   Basic computer skills for placing orders.   Able to identify correct parts, based on part number and shelf location.   Assist with inventory control.   Help technicians as necessary.   Other duties as assigned.   Requirements/Skills: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.   Prior delivery/driving experience   Mechanical aptitude and industry experience preferred  Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping.   No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.   Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.   Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.   May be exposed to solvents, chemicals, and refuse.   May be exposed to other risks associated with working around machines, tools, and trucks-CDL related   Additional Perks & Benefits: Competitive Pay: Starting at $22 per hour with opportunities for advancement.
