Shop Mechanic Helper - Full Time

Monday Through Friday. 8am - 430pm. Schedule Subject to Change, Based on Business Needs. Job Summary:   Sweeping Corp of America seeking a mechanically inclined Shop Helper. This is a career entry level job that will support mechanical technicians by retrieving parts for repair and other duties as assigned.    Job Responsibilities:  Complete preventative maintenance services per company guidelines Perform basic mechanical tasks. Example; change tires, change oil, grease truck. Assist senior mechanics with advanced repairs. Process and track parts that have been placed on order.   Prioritize multiple parts pick‐up and deliveries.   Ability to respond to emergency pick‐up and delivery.   Pays attention to details and observe safety precautions.  Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.   Basic computer skills for placing orders.   Able to identify correct parts, based on part number and shelf location.   Assist with inventory control.   Help technicians as necessary.   Other duties as assigned.
