What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Barista position at Sweet Basil Cafe?
Sweet Basil Cafe of Hanover Park is looking for weekend morning hosts and baristas. We are looking for Barista/Host that have great communication skills, that are energetic, team-orientated. Part time position that includes weekends and potentially/ occasional weekdays. We are a family-owned restaurant with a very extensive menu that is served all day. As a Barista/Host, you will be responsible for making specialty coffee drinks and smoothies.
Aiding in greeting customers as they enter the restaurant, takes their reservations or puts them on a waiting list if needed, give customers menus and shows them to their seats. Handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu, and assist restaurant staff when necessary. Check out customers. As a Barista/Host will need great communication skills as well as basic math skills. Must have weekend availability.
