Description
The Machine Operator level II supports the overall enterprise by operating various production machines per SOP and in compliance with the daily production schedule. They generally work independently with in a team, are responsible for their own work and coordinate through teamwork and collaboration with peers and both upstream and downstream teams including the Line Support, Material Handling, and QA under the general supervision of the Department Coordinator and Shift Supervisor.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 1 year(s) of machine operating experience and 1 year(s) of food manufacturing experience is preferred; or any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities;
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements:
- Must exhibit a knowledge of Safety standards and practices, ensuring that each shift ends with no preventable workplace accidents
- Must possess and demonstrate knowledge of Food Safety, Quality and GMPs as it pertains to personal and manufacturing practices ensuring minimum risk of contamination
- Possess and demonstrate knowledge of internal systems and processes
- Ability to follow direction and use critical thinking to achieve goals
- Must work well in a collaborative and multi-cultural, team-oriented environment
- Adaptability/flexibility to changing priorities is imperative as well as the ability to act/react in real time
- PIV certified on all position required vehicles and maintain certification
- Results driven and proactive with ability to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence
- Must be able to read and comprehend English for work orders/instructions, SOPs, safety requirements and policies/procedures
