What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician II (Electronic Controls Focus ) - Grave Shift position at Sweet Candy Company?
Shift: Wednesday - Friday 4pm - 4:30am, plus 8hr shift every other Tuesday
Wage Range: $36/hr - $44/hr
At Sweet Candy while we have been in business for over 100 years we are future focused and have some of the most advanced confectionary machines in the world. We also have some machines that have been producing candy for over half a century. Our technical team is looking for a highly motivated, experienced production maintenance technician who is driven to improve machine reliability and maintenance practices. This position will be focused on maintaining all aspects of candy production and packaging with a focus toward industrial electrical controls and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications:
- ALWAYS work safely, follow all safety protocols, so all our people go home in the same condition in which they arrived
- Work in compliance with all GMP, Food Safety and Sanitation standards
- Must collaborate well in a multi-cultural, team-oriented environment with a customer service and continuous improvement mindset
- Strong background in troubleshooting factory automation systems
- 3 years of experience in troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment. Including knowledge of electrical control circuits, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, pneumatics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and piping systems
- Communicate effectively and frequently to all stake holders including; production operators, management, quality, sanitation, human resources, peers and team members
- MS Office
