What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist position at Sweet Candy Company?
The E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist position will be focused on fulfilling e-commerce orders with managing tracking inventory, communicating the inventory to team, picking and packing orders received from online customers, pulling any urgent inventory from Warehouse, picking and packing sample orders, and support front desk as needed. This position also supports the overall operation as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal Candidate:
- Develop an understanding of the order fulfilment process .
- Effectively communicate the E-Commerce order flow.
- Monitors all open orders to ensure they are following through the appropriate path. Identify issues and works to quickly resolve any disruptions to the customer experience.
- Act as a back-up to the front desk.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory and order issues as they arise.
- Has the highest regard for SAFETY
- Can accurately pick orders from a picking sheet in a timely manner. 1st priority is Safety, 2nd is Accuracy, and 3rd is Productivity. They are all extremely important, but in this order priority.
- Can meet all of the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, lifting up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis, bending, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, sitting, utilizing various powered industrial trucks (using foot and dual hand controls)
- Has strong basic math/counting skills (for picking, staging, loading and inventory purposes)
- Is able to accurately complete all necessary paperwork
- Can successfully perform daily, detailed safety inspections of all equipment
- Adheres to all safety policies, procedures and practices in all assignments and tasks
- Works well in a team environment (communicates frequently with peers and Supervisors and responds to requests in a timely manner) and maintains a professional demeanor when dealing with external truck drivers
- Keeps the work area clean, organized and in compliance with GMP and other workplace standards
