What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Person/Business Development position at Sweet City Landscapes?
Job Overview - You are responsible for all sales. You build relationships. You represent the company and its vision and values to our teammates & community. You are responsible for implementing existing and creating new strategies that create leads and clients. You would need a self-employed mentality and be able to create your own flexible schedule to serve our clients and team.
KRA #1 - Community Relations
- Meet with existing clients for sales
- Meet with potential clients for sales (both incoming request and cold calls/visits)
- Help with any local events we want to host or participate in/ be looking for these opportunities
KRA #2 - Marketing
- Execute existing marketing plan with marketing team
- Creating and sending direct mailers
- Creating and sending email/text campaigns
- Constantly learning the market and marketing opportunities
- Creating some marketing material/ ordering
- Being innovative about ways we can market our services
What this looks like weekly:
- Meeting weekly for weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives
- Creating and executing a weekly, monthly and quarterly business plan based on our annual objectives.
- Researching ways we can be more involved in community events
- Monitoring our email/text/direct mail automations and creating/implementing as needed
- Answering the company sales phone
You would report directly to the company integrator (COO) and work with the website team, automations team, sales team and marketing planning team and messaging team when needed.
Benefits are based on a 40 hour work week and include a $50,000 base salary plus increasing commission plan, company truck and fuel, 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacations(starting at 4 weeks per year), and advancement opportunities with a growing company with a family culture.
