Full Charge Bookkeeper/Managing Accountant

• Managing Accountant, full charge bookeeping, financial administration, accounting cycle manager for a five person production accounting office
• Ability to meet accounting and agency deadlines
• Oversee Payroll data processing, regulatory compliance assurance and administration
• A/P vendor payment, auditing and administration as needed
• A/R receipts, billing, adjustments, auditing as needed
• Verify cash receipts and tracking cash flow
• Reconcile monthly bank statements and prepare accruals, research and correct issues and variances, prepare variance analysis and supporting schedules
• Accounting team lead for year-end close and satisfy various reporting requirements
• Perform training of accounting assistants and other accounting projects
• Proactively keep departmental tasks on schedule and communicate work flow
• Reconcile general and subsidiary account ledgers
• Assist in the continual improvement of procedures and controls

Qualifications, Education, Experience

• Detail oriented with discipline for completeness of work
• Ability to manage accounting and coordinate team work flow and projects
• Willingness to take responsibility for ensuring ontime completions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to independently set priorities
• Expert highly proficient MS Excel data manipulation and analysis required
• Experience with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics, SAP
• Four-year degree in accounting or related field
• 8 years experience in production accounting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
