Maintance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Housing is available.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and facilities.
• Fabricate parts and components as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Conduct residential painting and other aesthetic improvements to maintain facility appearance.
• Lead small teams during maintenance projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Execute welding tasks for repairs or modifications of structures and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Proficiency in using tools such as Ohmmeters and welding equipment.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
• Basic English communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and reporting issues.
• Experience in residential painting is a plus.
• Valid Drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
