We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Host who is passionate about the hospitality industry and excited to create a welcoming experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, efficient, and enjoys interacting with people to set the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, positive attitude
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize flow and efficiency
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, seating plan, and venue layout
- Assist guests with wait times, special accommodations, and inquiries
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service
- Keep the host stand and entrance area organized and presentable
- Monitor dining room activity and assist in clearing/resetting tables as needed
- Uphold sanitation, safety, and health standards
- Adhere to all company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions
- 1 years experience as a host in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting preferred, but we are willing to train the right person!
- Experience with reservation systems like Resy or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for hospitality
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate guests' needs
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
This position requires standing and moving for long periods, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and frequent bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level.
