We’re looking for a friendly, organized and energetic individual who’s passionate about the hospitality industry and excited to deliver a high quality 360 experience with humor and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate an optimistic attitude and dedication to facilitating a warm, authentic hospitality experience
- Receive and greet guests, assist with seating if necessary
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu and presentation standards, table numbers and seating plan throughout the venue
- Take orders, run food and drinks while perpetuating brand standard and positive ambiance
- Make sure all stations are prepared and operational before, during and after service
- Anticipate guests’ needs to ensure service exceeds expectations
- Check tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction, resolve guest issues
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Complete all side work and standard operating procedures.
- Follow all company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings as required
Key Requirements
- 2 years experience as a server at a New York upscale casual bar/restaurant with a track record of providing excellent customer service is preferred but we're willing to train the right person!
- TIPS Food Handler’s Certification strongly preferred
- Experience with Resy Toast strongly preferred
- Comprehensive food, wine & cocktail knowledge
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and creative problem solving in a constantly evolving environment
- Passion for hospitality and collaboration
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest conflict
- Ability to receive feedback in a positive manner and implement necessary changes
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and results driven
- Flexible late night, weekend and holiday availability per needs of the business
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include standing and working for long periods of time and frequent movement during work hours. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, bend, squat, kneel and reach above shoulder level.
