Job Overview

We are currently in search of a skilled Cultivator to enhance our team at Sweet Oz Cultivation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate substantial experience in managing both the vegetative growth phase and the intricacies of harvest operations, complemented by leadership capabilities to mentor our cultivation team. This role is hands-on, necessitating a deep understanding of plant care, foliar spray application, water room management, and overall crop health.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the vegetative stage of plant growth, ensuring optimal plant development.
• Direct harvest activities, focusing on the correct timing, techniques, and processing of harvested plants.
• Mix and apply foliar sprays to promote plant health and create optimal growth conditions.
• Operate and maintain water rooms and irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use and plant nourishment.
• Lead and train other cultivation team members, fostering an environment of collaboration and efficiency.
• Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to address disease, pests, or deficiencies.
• Maintain precise records of plant progress, spray applications, and other cultivation activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Cultivation Manager.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in both the harvest and vegetative stages of cannabis cultivation.
• Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing teams in a cultivation setting.
• Familiarity with foliar sprays for enhancing plant health and growth.
• Hands-on experience in managing water rooms and understanding plant requirements at various stages.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial cannabis cultivation facility is preferred.
• Knowledge of sustainable cultivation practices is advantageous.
