We are currently looking for an after school teacher who enjoys working with children and having fun! Must love the outdoors, arts & crafts, & being silly. We will train you on the rest. Position is Monday-Friday afternoons with the potential of full-time opportunities. An excellent opportunity to add to your teaching experience! Sweet Peas Village Early Childhood School is a well-established, premier early childhood school in the heart of East Greenwich. We pride ourselves on creating a professional, caring, and high-quality team of teachers. 3:00pm 5:30pm.
Your responsibilities include:
*Following provided schedule for assigned group of children, supervise playground times, organize snack, and engage children in age-appropriate activities
*Caring for the safety & well-being of children
*Interacting with families & provide feedback
*Encourage children to interact with one another in a positive way
*Maintain a clean and tidy classroom
Skills:
*Ability & eagerness to learn, we will train you for the position
*Excellent communication skills
*Be willing to work on a team
*Even-keeled, friendly, and reliable
Education:
*Must have (at least) a High School Diploma or GED
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
