We are searching for a skilled, energetic and successful cafe associate who will function as Ice cream Server/ Baker, you must be efficient and friendly with a focus on food quality and customer satisfaction. You must be organized, decisive, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of cleanliness as it is important. Customers will be on the lookout for a clean workstation. It's a huge turnoff to have ice cream dripping all over the counter.

As an Ice Cream Server
You will be the face of our organization, proudly creating and serving our super premium ice cream treats and toppings with exceptional customer service. As a Scooper, your goal is to serve the ordered ice cream as fast as possible with accuracy and artistic presentation, delighting each guest!
You must have upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude with excellent communication skills as your responsibility as an ice cream scooper is a customer service job. You have to be friendly and work at a good pace so that things keep moving and get customers coming back.
As a Cafe Baker
We look for a creative Bakers who strive to provide excellent baked items and service in an efficient, professional manner. As cookie baker, you will be preparing orders and baking the cookies and ensure they are hot, fresh even late. You will also answer customer questions, clean workstations and equipment, and perform other duties to ensure that customer needs are satisfied and the cafe is well-stocked and operating smoothly.
Responsibilities
· Interacting with customers and offering flavor descriptions
· Serving up café items with enthusiasm and precision!
· Must be able to make ice cream novelties
· Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment.
· Decorating and displaying finished products
· Following all health guidelines, specific training provided
· Keeping the store and work area tidy per health regulations.
· Ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls
· Greeting every customer, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payments, and providing exceptional customer service
· Running the point of sale system; cash handling training provided
· Preparing cookies, desserts and restocking ice cream dipping cabinets as necessary
· Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
· Taking client information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on time
· Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift
Requirements
· Prior experience working in food production and/or commercial bakery preferred
· Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, push, pull and, stoop repetitively
· Ability to lift 20 lbs. independently or with assistance
· Flexible and able to handle a fast-paced environment
· Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
· Ability to work successfully in a team environment with all personality types
· Must be friendly demonstrate excellent communication and math skills
· Problem-solving skills and is a quick learner
· Previous retail, food or customer service experience
· Nights and weekend availability is a must
· Flexible Start Date

Ice Cream Server Skills
· Friendliness: Customers aren’t always going to be friendly, but you as the scooper need to be. As the saying goes, the customer is always right!
· Fast learner: Ice cream cafe can be busy. You must be able to pick things up quickly.
· Patience: Most customers often don’t know what they want. Must be patient to offer recommendations to help them decide. You must remain calm and scoop on.
· Work under pressure: At peak time, ice cream cafe can get be busy with online orders. You will need to work diligently with a smile to get through the crowd.
