BrightStar Care of Leesburg and Gainesville is seeking compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team and provide exceptional care to our clients in the Front Royal, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties. Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of patients' medical histories, treatments, and progress.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Patient Assessment: Monitor and observe patients for progress, side effects from medications, and any changes in condition.
• Personal Care Support: Provide assistance with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, always maintaining dignity and respect.
• Medical Procedures: Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments such as enemas, wound care, and other routine medical tasks.
• Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and comfort to patients, ensuring they feel cared for and heard during their treatment.
• Family Communication: Communicate with patients’ families to provide updates, advice, and comfort, while also delivering necessary care instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Proven experience in a similar role with a valid LPN license in the state of Virginia or West Virginia.
• Healthcare Standards Knowledge: Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices in patient care.
• Confidentiality Compliance: Ability to manage confidential patient information with discretion and in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Medical Terminology Proficiency: Strong understanding of medical terminology, ensuring clear and accurate communication in patient care.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Stress Management: Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a compassionate approach.
