We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, and mixers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Help with food service by delivering food orders to customers when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Buss tables and assist in clearing away used dishes and glassware from patrons.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or needs to the management team.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and patrons.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
- Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus.
