Description
Job Tasks:This list represents the primary tasks associated with the position but is not all inclusive of the tasks that may be required.
Landscaping:
- Mowing, edging, planting, removing weeds and dead plants.
- Spraying chemicals such as pesticides, fertilizers and weed killer.
Exterior building maintenance:
- Power wash buildings and walkways
- Clean windows
- Ensure walkways and parking lots are free of debris and hazards
- Ensure dumpster areas are clean and free of debris
- Check lighting; change bulbs; report any street light outages to the electric company
Interior building maintenance:
Preventative Maintenance:
- Change air filters
- Change light bulbs
- Replace ceiling tiles
- Check faucets, toilets and water heaters for leaks
- Check water heater temperatures for optimal efficiency
- Inspect drains to ensure they are free of clogs
Other Maintenance:
- Minor repairs to toilets and faucets
- Minor repairs to walls and drywall
- Painting
Other Duties:
- Furniture assembly
- Move items to and from storage as requested
- Provide inner-company courier services
- Hang art work
Meets position requirements and performs essential functions.
Completes all mandatory training as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid, state issued driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines, in a detail-oriented manner.
MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED
- Personal computer. Ladders. Lawn mower, edger, miscellaneous lawn and garden tools. Power washer. Variety of hand tools such as hammers, screw drivers, wrenches etc.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Exposure to both indoor, temperature controlled, smoke free environment and outdoor environment
- Exposure to noise, odors, dust and mists
- Exposure or potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
Physical requirements
- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, fingering, and grasping.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Must have close visual acuity for using measurement devices, and the assembly of parts
- Must have the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
- Must have the ability to hear and receive detailed information through oral communication
