Job Overview
The Executive Assistant at Sweetgrass Pharmacy and Compounding supports the overall mission of the company by providing high level administrative support to the CEO ensuring efficient operation of the pharmacies. The role is based out of the Carolina Park location but may also work out of the Seaside Farms location from time to time.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Organize meetings, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
- Oversee office operations, including managing supplies
- Accounts Receivable / Billing
- Special Projects: lead or assist in special projects that require a high level of expertise and confidentiality
- Manage state applications by completing all required documents
- Back up the front register
- Back up the shipping department
Other Duties As Assigned
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Finance experience a plus
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Products a must
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Pharmacy Environment
- Decision Making – Exercise discretion and independent judgment in handling administrative tasks.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Must be collaborative and able to perform as part of a team
- Ability to delegate responsibilities to others
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of applicable pharmacy software(s)
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
