**New role!** Sweetgrass Psychiatry is seeking a highly motivated and professional Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the state of South Carolina to join our growing team as an outpatient Advanced Psychiatric Services Nurse Manager. This dynamic role will encompass clinical, administrative, and program and personnel management responsibilities, ensuring seamless operations of our interventional psychiatry services, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ketamine, and Spravato treatments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, excellent patient care rapport, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. This is a new role for our rapidly expanding practice and your creative vision and organizational skills will be a tremendous asset.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Assist with advanced and interventional psychiatry treatments, including ketamine injections and Spravato administration oversight, long acting injectable medication injections, and TMS treatments.
- Monitor patients during Spravato, ketamine, and TMS treatments when needed under physician/APP supervision, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
- Prepare ketamine injections and assist with administration as necessary under physician direction.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation for TMS, Spravato, and ketamine appointments.
- Assist with periodic crisis patient calls, providing initial triage and coordinating care as needed.
- Assist with and triage patient phone calls about medication questions and side effect concerns.
- Administer long-acting injectable medications as ordered by MD/APRN/PA-C.
- Coordinate and work closely with new TMS and Spravato referrals.
- Coordinate with the patients in the interventional psychiatry program on their scheduling needs, required paperwork, and overall patient care experience.
- Work closely with in office Sweetgrass Psychiatry providers to communicate/convey information about side effects, clinical symptoms, or care needs.
- Assist with writing patient letters, filling out patient forms as needed / as directed by physicians/clinicians.
- Assist with physician portal message coverage as needed.
- Coordinate with community mental health providers and referring clinicians, sending patient records electronically and being available to answer calls.
- Maintain and update patient tracking spreadsheets for TMS patients.
- Assist with new patient referrals by answering questions regarding treatment appropriateness and directing consult referrals.
- Oversee and update TMS, ketamine, and Spravato protocols and staff trainings annually and as needed.
- Coordinate prior authorizations for procedures and medications as needed.
- Manage the REMS program for the Mount Pleasant office and assist with the REMS program for the Isle of Palms office as needed.
- Maintain the DEA inventory logs daily with periodic inventories.
- Ensure Spravato treatment packets are complete and compliant.
- Oversee the TMS schedule and ensure adequate clinical coverage for TMS patients.
- Train new TMS technicians and provide ongoing support and mentorship to TMS technicians.
- Work closely with and support the Isle of Palms clinic location manager on the Spravato program, providing coverage as needed.
- Collaborate with pharmacies as needed to ensure patient prescriptions are received and deliveries are scheduled.
- Competitive Salary Depending on Experience and Degree: $25-30 per hour

- Option for four 10-hour workdays, subject to clinic requirements and patient demand.
- Primary work location at the Mount Pleasant office, with periodic coverage at the Isle of Palms location as needed.
- Active LPN or RN license in South Carolina in good standing
- Previous success in leadership and program manager roles
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- TMS and/or Spravato experience are helpful but not necessary as we can provide on the job training
