Pet Groomer

*Job Overview*

We are seeking a talented, experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a minimum of 3 years experience providing full grooming services including the ability to do breed standard haircuts. You will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to pets while ensuring their comfort and safety. You will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming wishes while also discussing professional recommendations for groom, check pet in/out and provide exceptional customer service throughout process.

*Duties*

- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, breed standard haircuts, nail care, ear cleaning and teeth brushing for various breeds of dogs. Cat grooming experience a plus but not necessary.

- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.

- Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by regularly sanitizing tools and the work areas.

- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options.

- Handle animals with care and restraint, ensuring their safety during the grooming process.

- Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to provide the best service possible.

*Requirements*

-Minimum of 3 years experience in dog grooming.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or equipment.

- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential
