Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services offered, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and more.
- Manage cash handling processes accurately and efficiently during transactions.
- Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Document customer concerns and relay information to the service technicians for accurate diagnostics.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience.
- Follow up with customers regarding their service experience and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
- Assist in managing the flow of vehicles through the service department to optimize efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in automotive diagnostics is preferred.
- Experience in auto service management is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of shop operations.
- Proficiency in cash handling and transaction processing to ensure accurate billing.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers in an understandable manner.
