The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in supporting Sweetspot Brands' efforts to drive retail growth. Responsible for various tasks, including bookkeeping, revenue and expense recording, and accounts payable management, the Staff Accountant contributes to the success of our Accountant and Finance Department initiatives. The Role :
- Maintain general ledger accounts payable reporting for retail locations in QuickBooks
- Coordinate with retail locations and General Managers to ensure invoice reporting accuracy
- Accurately complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Process invoices into QuickBooks, track outstanding invoices, and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Process payments for retail location invoices via ACH
- Maintain reconciliations for accounts payable for month-end and year- end closing
- Audit and process employee expense reports
- Record journal entries for month-end, quarter-end year-end processes, and adjustments
- Manage records, databases, and files for invoices and other cost related areas
- Maintain and update vendor information
