In Home Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role involves delivering personalized care to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide direct support to clients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Assist clients with memory care and dementia-related tasks, ensuring a safe environment.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary, including helping clients transfer from beds or chairs.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of care plans and direct support techniques for individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong understanding of memory care practices and dementia care strategies.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Certification in social work or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
