Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Expo/Food Runner to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of food from the kitchen to the customers as well as timely clearing of tables. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Help expedite food orders by delivering dishes from the kitchen to the appropriate tables
- Ensure accuracy in food orders and verify that each dish meets quality standards
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Communicate effectively with both customers and team members to address any concerns or special requests
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the food industry or restaurant setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic food handling procedures is preferred
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
