Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our company. In addition to greeting and assisting clients, this role requires taking on various support tasks such as light laundry duties, folding, and keeping the lobby and front desk area pristine. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who excels at multitasking, provides exceptional customer service, and embraces opportunities to respond to customer reviews and make sales calls as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist Guests: Provide a warm, professional welcome to clients and visitors, managing check-ins and offering assistance as needed.
- Phone Management: Answer and direct incoming calls, maintain phone systems, and place outbound calls (including sales calls) when required.
- Administrative Support: Schedule appointments using Google Suite, manage calendars, maintain office records, and proofread documents.
- Clerical Duties: Handle mailing, filing, and data entry while ensuring office supplies are well-stocked.
- Facility Upkeep: Keep the lobby and front desk area clean and inviting, which includes light cleaning and tidying up as needed.
- Laundry and Folding: Attend to laundry tasks and folding when necessary to support the operational needs of the office.
- Customer Engagement: Promptly respond to customer reviews, address inquiries, and provide resolution in a professional, friendly manner.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role is helpful but not required.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a strong commitment to creating a positive atmosphere.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and confidence in learning new software tools.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and multi-line systems; sales call experience is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Strong organizational abilities and willingness to handle light cleaning and laundry tasks.
