What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Security Officer position at Sweetwater Sound?
Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and musical instruments is hiring for our Security Team! Our security officers will be responsible for maintaining and up-keeping a safe and secure environment for all Sweetwater employees and customers. Our team takes on a variety of different tasks, including monitoring security cameras, transporting artists, employees, and guests, as well as administering first aid/CPR to anyone that might need it in an emergency.
Schedule:
Thursday & Saturday - 11:00pm-7:00am
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer First Aid, CPR, or AED to anyone experiencing a medical emergency
- Navigate video security systems and monitor security cameras
- Oversee and monitor safety, security, and fire protection systems
- Responsible for processing and overseeing employee diner and music store purchases
- Monitor incoming and outgoing employees in the Distribution Center
- Transport musical artists, VIPs, special guests, and employees to and from the Sweetwater campus
- Administer Drug Screens for employees
- Secure perimeter of Sweetwater’s campus in patrol car.
- Work in conjunction with commissioned police officers at Sweetwater
Job Qualifications:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
- High School Degree or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of security or public safety experience is preferred but not required
- Great team-first attitude, and ability to follow directions clearly
- Willing to act immediately when a situation arises
- Must have high integrity and be willing to always do the right thing for all involved
- MUST have a valid Driver’s License
