The Assistant Category Manager will be responsible for answering product availability questions, gathering information from vendors, pre-sale questions from our Sales Engineers, updating price lists, and performing other duties as requested from the Category Manager related to Band & Orchestra.

Job Responsibilities
- Deliver service and support to Sales Engineers via phone and email
- Working with our numerous vendors to resolve a variety of issues for Sales Engineers
- Creating and maintaining records
- Staying current with system information, changes, and updates
- Ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Desire to pay close attention to detail, high level of organization, and the responsibility to promptly complete assigned tasks
- Working knowledge and deep understanding of Band & Orchestral Instruments
- Knowledge of Educational Buying Trends and Programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Email
- Exceptional Customer Service experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Degree or Certificate in Music or similar preferred
- Knowledge of current Brands and B&O Manufacturers
