**Job Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. **Duties** - Greet customers and provide a friendly and welcoming environment - Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently - Operate a cash register, including processing sales, handling returns, and maintaining the register and surrounding area - Demonstrate products and answer customer inquiries - Maintain a clean and organized store environment - Manage inventory and stock shelves as needed - Process transactions on point-of-sale (POS) systems - Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner - Meet sales goals and increase sales through upselling and product demonstrations - Perform basic math calculations to handle cash transactions and make change - Maintain a thorough understanding of the store's products and services - Perform other duties as assigned by management **Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent - Prior retail experience is preferred - Basic math skills - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of sales and retail math - Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds - Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
