Swept Away Janitorial seeks an energetic and seasoned Operations Manager to lead our daily operations, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and client satisfaction remains high. This role involves leading the operations team, enhancing operational procedures, and fostering continuous improvement to uphold operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage day-to-day operations to enhance efficiency, quality, and resource management.
- Formulate, apply, and update operational policies and systems to optimize operational efficiency.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead and inspire a sizable team in a demanding, time-sensitive environment, setting educational goals and performance benchmarks while monitoring outcomes.
- Guarantee operations are conducted safely and comply with legal and managerial guidelines.
- Evaluate and refine organizational processes to boost quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Address and resolve complex issues impacting company operations and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee team members and regularly visit accounts.
- Proactively communicate with senior management about critical issues.
- Identify potential for team member development and ensure comprehensive training is provided.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or substantial experience as an Operations Manager, ideally in the janitorial or cleaning services sector.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with proven team management capabilities.
- Robust problem-solving abilities with proficiency in making decisions under pressure.
- Experienced in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Preference for bilingual candidates (Spanish).
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel.
- Must clear pre-employment screenings.
