The Compensation & Payroll Auditor will play a crucial role in analyzing payroll and compensation data, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of payroll processes and auditing principles. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive compliance and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Payroll Auditing : Conduct comprehensive audits of payroll, tax, and personnel records to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Reporting : Prepare and present detailed audit findings to management, providing actionable recommendations for compliance improvements and corrective actions.
- Data Analysis : Analyze payroll data in relation to collective bargaining agreements and employee benefit plans to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Communicate effectively with HR, finance, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and support compliance initiatives.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for improving payroll processes and compliance systems, making recommendations based on audit findings.
- Documentation : Maintain thorough documentation of audits, findings, and follow-up actions to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Field Work : Occasionally travel to client locations to perform audits and gather necessary information, enhancing our client relationships.
