Description

The Automotive Service Greeter is responsible for welcoming and assisting customers who bring their vehicles in for service. They serve as the first point of contact, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

Customer Greeter : Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival, making them feel welcome and valued.
Service Appointment Scheduling : Schedule service appointments based on customer needs and availability, ensuring optimal efficiency for the service department.
Vehicle Intake : Gather necessary information about the customer's vehicle and service requirements, including mileage, previous service history, and specific concerns.
Vehicle Inspection : Perform a basic inspection of the vehicle, noting any visible damage or issues that may require additional attention.
Customer Communication : Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the service process, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
Administrative Tasks : Complete necessary paperwork, including service orders, customer information forms, and warranty claims.
Facility Maintenance : Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service department, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

Demonstrates a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong customer service skills, with a focus on courtesy, professionalism, and empathy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift and carry objects, up to 50 pounds.

Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.

Ability to work in a garage environment, which may include exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
