Description
The Senior Construction Manager develops and manages construction projects ranging from $1,000 to $30 million, as well as supports the on-going management and maintenance of facilities at company locations for one of the top automotive retailers in the United States.
The Senior Construction Manager reports to the Director of Real Estate and Facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Responsible for all aspects of assigned construction projects including entitlement, consultant/contractor selection and administration, construction management, and final move-in.
- Manage the procurement and installation of fixed assets (Including furniture, displays, signage, equipment, and other items as directed) for new construction, remodels, and periodic store needs in accordance with polices and guidelines.
- Maintain vendor relationships ensuring vendors provide a quality product along with excellent customer service at competitive prices.
- Evaluate and resolve disputes or issues with government entities.
- Produce proforma spreadsheets analyzing the viability of new projects and present findings to senior management.
- Build and maintain knowledge of automotive product information and current dealership conditions.
- Manage all facility aspects of the Swickard corporate office building in Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Address facility maintenance items as assigned locations.
- Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years or greater experience with design, construction, and/or project management; preferred to have such experience in the retail or automotive field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in either a corporate real estate environment or owner’s representative role in the retail or automotive field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Management experience
