Front Counter Food Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires making sandwiches, smoothies, smoothie bowls and other items on the menu while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions efficiently.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Engage with customers to promote menu items through effective upselling techniques.
• Collaborate with other employees to fulfill orders efficiently.

Qualifications

Willing to train the right candidate.

• Previous experience in a kitchen, grocery store, or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems, such as Square POS.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
