To continue raising the bar in security, we are looking for a Security Platform Architect to help drive the security evolution of the platform components. Amongst other security consideration, this evolution must have important focus on post-quantum security readiness. The platform components in scope are both on-prem and in the cloud such as HP, VMware, Cisco, Juniper or AWS.
Reporting into the Platform Architecture team, the Hybrid Security Platform Architect is responsible for supporting the development and the evolution of the platform architecture in close collaboration with the main stakeholders such as Global Security and Platform Service Organization.
What to expect
In this role you will:
Hybrid Platform Security and Post-Quantum readiness
- In close collaboration with Global Security and Platform Service Organization, drive the evolution of platform components to adhere with latest and highest security standards such as the latest post-quantum algorithm.
- Amongst others, the technologies in scope are Fortinet firewalls, Cisco ACI, VMware, HP Storage, F5 BIG-IP, Oracle ExaCC, Juniper SDWAN, OpenShift, NetSkope, AWS…
Zero Trust, SSE and Network Segmentation
- Part of the Technology Platform Zero Trust transformation, contribute to Zero Trust roadmap and in particular to the network segmentation using technologies such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX as well as participating to the selection of new micro-segmentation technologies applicable for VM based and container-based workload.
- Support the team for the adoption of the latest Juniper SDWAN products and ensure all elements of the solution meets the more stringent standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among architects, security professionals, and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate complex architectural concepts, including security strategies and quantum computing approaches, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations on architecture decisions, security investments, and quantum technology initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and quantum computing.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization in both traditional and quantum security frameworks, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of agility and adaptability, encouraging experimentation and a proactive approach to security challenges.
What will make you successful?
We are seeking professionals with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- 10 years of experience of relevant experience
- Proven experience as a Platform Architect or similar role in a large-scale enterprise environment
- Expertise in defining architectural blueprints, reference architectures, and principles, with a strong focus on security and scalability
- Strong experience with On-Prem and Cloud Infrastructure services
- Knowledge in latest Post-Quantum development
- Experience with Private / hybrid cloud solutions (VMware, HP, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, F5)
- Experience with hyperscale solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), certifications are appreciated
- Experience of hypervisors technologies (VMware) and network virtualization (NSX, etc.)
- Experience with containers, container security and orchestration (OpenShift, K8s, ArgoCD..)
- Familiar with automation and orchestration technologies (Ansible, Terraform).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business outcomes through secure, innovative technology solutions

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $121,564.00 USD Annual MINIMUM to $225,762.00 USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employee’s contingent on personal and company performance.
