We offer unique and curated wellness activations for organizations and brands wanting to grow their following including movement classes (yoga, strength training, biking tours), wellness activities (crystal curation, mindfulness, sound baths), workshops with top thought leaders (sleep strategies, wellness at work, mindfulness to manage stress), and unique itineraries (recovery lounges, Texas team building, healthy happy hours). We also bring events to the community through both large scale signature events and on-going wellness classes and workshops. 


About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist  to join our Direct to Organization (D2O) sales team. This is an individual contributor, outside B2B role selling Swift Fit services to organizations including corporations, associations, agencies, nonprofits and specialized retailers and tech companies. The Business Development Specialist will play a key role on the D2O Sales Team. 

Our Business Development Specialist  is responsible for driving new business acquisition throughout the entire sales cycle from Targeting/Prospecting through Contract Closing and Account Management. This position reports to the Head of Business Development. 


Primary Responsibilities:


Growing the Direct to Organization business and exceed assigned quota

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target organizations that can benefit from Swift’s offerings.
  • Utilize various strategies to generate leads, such as networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.


Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target enterprises.
  • Understand the client’s business needs, challenges, and goals to tailor solutions effectively.


Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Present and demonstrate products or services to potential clients through persuasive proposals and presentations.


Negotiation and Closing:

  • Lead complex negotiations to secure profitable deals.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.


Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Provide feedback to these teams based on client interactions to help improve products and services.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market feedback using CRM tools.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.


This is a hybrid role based in Austin and will require coming into Swift HQ located at 10th and Congress at least 2-3 days a week for team meetings, as well as attending local events that may happen early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Some travel within Texas may be needed. 


The Candidate

We are looking for a resourceful and driven individual with proven outside B2B sales experience who has regularly exceeded sales quotas. Experience selling services is a plus.

Preferred Experience, Traits and Abilities:
  • 3 years of proven outside B2B sales experience exceeding quotas. Selling services a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Wellness or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling to complex organizations and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools like Linked In Sales Navigator. 
  • Solution-oriented and embraces adaptability and resourcefulness. 
  • Trustworthy, dependable and reliable. High Integrity is a must. 
  • Approachable and social with prospects and clients, a great listener.
  • A flexible schedule with availability on mornings, evenings and weekends, and reliable transportation
  • This role may involve physical activity including lifting up to 30 pounds, standing for extended periods, and walking several miles. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions



COMPENSATION 

This is a full-time, W-2 role of 40 hours per week with a base hourly rate plus commission and bonuses. 

Target OTE for the first year is $80k .
