Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Family Friendly Entertainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for performance and a knack for captivating audiences of all ages. This role is supportive in nature and includes interacting with adults, kids and teachers as well as assisting the drink station for a Children's STEM Program. Duties
- Communicate effectively with members to create an interactive experience.
- Support our Mission through fun and informative presentations that promote creativity and learning.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new performance concepts and materials.
- Adapt performances based on the audience's age group and interests.
- Participate in rehearsals and training sessions to enhance performance skills.
- Maintain a positive and energetic presence during all performances.
Qualifications
- Experience in comedy, theater, or related performing arts is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children.
- Experience working with children in educational or entertainment settings is preferred.
- Public speaking experience is an asset, showcasing confidence in front of an audience.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think on your feet and adapt
- A passion for education and the arts, fostering a love for creativity among young audiences.
