Position Summary: As a Medicare Sales Agent, you will be responsible for guiding seniors through the process of selecting the best Medicare plan for their needs. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, educate clients, and sell Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads for new clients.
- Educate prospective clients about Medicare options and benefits.
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance plans.
- Close sales and ensure a smooth enrollment process for new clients.
- Maintain a pipeline of clients and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on Medicare products, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry.
- Active health insurance license (Medicare certification preferred or willing to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of Medicare programs and regulations is a plus.
- A self-starter with a desire to meet and exceed goals.
