Essential Job Functions:
Applies teaching and classroom leadership skills that maximizes the learning experience of all students. Update courses to remain current with all technology advances incorporated on machines. Plans and manages an annual class schedule incorporating time for instructor preparation and assuring the availability of machine and classroom resources. Reviews annual schedule on a monthly to incorporate adjustments so training can be adapted to changes in demand. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. • Understand training principles that maximize the learning experience of students
• Teach product related classes in-house and at customer sites
• Train and develop other employee skills within technical support organization
• Market and develop Educational Services business to external customers • Understand training principles that maximize the learning experience of students
• Work with Academy team members and DMG MORI subject matter experts in creating training materials
• Conduct general and application-specific collaborative training consulting support
• Provide evaluations and recommendations regarding client’s educational needs
• Utilize effective communication principles in order to successfully interact with clients and customers, team members and management
• Provide project management of assigned training development and work projects
• Design and implement training assessment and job position certification programs
• Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred, or machining knowledge
• 8 years experience in CNC machine environments
Knowledge in part processing, metal cutting, CNC programming, reading drawings, and machine setup
Basic understanding of Metallurgy
Work Environment:
office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.

Frequent:
Travel, sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones. Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements.
Periodic:
Operating power equipment, standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
