Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual Telehealth Physician Assistant (PA) fluent in English and Spanish to provide virtual care to our diverse patient population. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a range of medical conditions via telehealth platforms while ensuring clear and effective communication in both languages.
Responsibilities:Conduct virtual consultations to assess patient symptoms, medical history, and health concerns.
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing medications as needed.
Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) patient education on treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle recommendations.
Collaborate with supervising physicians and refer patients for in-person care or specialty services when necessary.
Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records (EMRs).
Ensure compliance with telehealth regulations, including HIPAA standards.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings.
Current and valid Physician Assistant license in New York state.
NCCPA certification (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
Minimum of [2 years preferred] clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or a related field.
Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Experience with telehealth or virtual care platforms preferred.
