We are looking for a Building Maintenance who is skilled in performing general repairs, electrical and plumbing maintenance, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting buildings, troubleshooting issues, supervising janitorial staff, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role requires someone who can handle various maintenance tasks, manage vendors, and communicate effectively with staff and management to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Replacing lightbulbs and other electrical work
- Electrical maintenance and repairs
- Basic repair in custodial, roads, and grounds
- Operating and maintaining maintenance tolos
- Collecting and disposing of litter, trash, and debris
- Inspecting buildings and scheduling repairs
- Taking inventory of cleaning supplies and tolos
- Supervises Janitorial Staff
- Conducts Daily/Weekly/Monthly Facility checklists
- Daily Pre-Op Checks on all equipment
- Assembles Samples If necessary
- Communicating issues to Facility Manager as well as Maintenance Manager
- Communicate with staff regarding maintenance issues
- Any other duties the company may need.
- Performs basic repairs on plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment
- Direct and participate in facility plumbing repairs
- Troubleshoots and performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures
- Troubleshoot and fix any plumbing related issues
- Will be required to document daily activities, work order resolution, equipment maintenance and repair activities, inventory tracking, warehouse activity
- As an example, some other duties and responsibilities this position may require as follows: Areas of responsibility include all preventive and reactive building and site maintenance
Payrate:
$17.00-$18.00 based on Experience.
