We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor MUST BE BILINGUAL (Bilingual English/Spanish) to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. This role requires excellent leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while optimizing productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards to promote a safe working environment.
- Manage team performance through effective training, coaching, and development of warehouse staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the distribution center to enhance productivity.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to facilitate operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and distribution processes.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within a 3PL (third-party logistics) environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes in a distribution center setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work culture.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
