What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Lathe Machinist position at Swift Strategic Solutions Inc?
A technology services client of ours is looking for CNC Lathe Machinist skills their ongoing projects.
Below are the additional details of this role:
Required Skills:
- 4 years of experience setting up / running CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
- Experience machining stainless steel and non-ferrous materials.
- Knowledge of machines with live tooling, tailstock & sub-spindle transfers highly desired.
- Multi-turret machine experience a plus.
- Feature Cam or Fusion 360 programming knowledge and experience is a plus
- CAD/CAM knowledge is helpful but not required
- Able to read micrometer, gauges and comparator. Also able to read blueprints.
- Good computer skills and math skills
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Good organization skills; able to prioritize and plan multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self motivated; proactive in improving processes and anticipating needs/problems
- Team player; able to work well with a wide variety of people
- Quality and safety focused
- Able to read and write fluently in English
- Must be willing to work some overtime
