Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate shift management to ensure quality patient care.
- Oversee nursing administration, including staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights regulations and uphold the highest ethical standards in patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices in nursing management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to maintain operational efficiency within the nursing department.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in nursing practices to ensure optimal care delivery.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in nursing administration or nurse management within a long-term care or nursing home setting.
- Strong understanding of resident rights, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration among staff and stakeholders.
