Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
JD:
Mostly Days. Varying shifts of 8-10 hours, depending on department needs. On Call: As assigned. Minimum call requirements are: - 1 overnight weekday call shift/week - 1 weekend call shift/month Holiday Rotation-Expected to be a part of on-call team during holidays.

Duties

• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in medical records accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Perform routine physical assessments and document findings in accordance with medical documentation standards.
• Assist in the management of medical equipment and ensure a safe environment for patients.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in nursing care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical records management.
• Experience in patient care settings is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical standards in nursing practice.
