Structured Cable Network Engineer - Locals Only

A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a Structured Cable Network Engineer to work on their ongoing project in the Richmond, VA office.

Below are the additional details of this role:

Required Skills:

• Experience in data and telecommunications to include installing, testing and inspecting deployed communications systems.
• Experience in Installation, maintain and support of critical, multi-site networks.
• Knowledge of wire-line and wireless, including fiber optics, T1, DS-3, MPLS, cellular technologies, CDMA, TDMA, VoIP, 5G, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, IP Networks
• Working knowledge of networking tools, such as; Fluke Versiv with light meter, netAlly AirCheck G3, netAlly nXG, iperf3, nmap, wireshark, traceroute,
• Intermediate skills in using Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.
• Experience testing copper and fiber
