Material Handler
Are you ready to take on a hands-on role in a high-energy manufacturing and warehouse environment? We’re looking for a Material Handler to support our production team by safely managing inventory and materials. This is a temporary opportunity ideal for individuals who enjoy active, fast-paced work and want to build their skills in logistics and forklift operations.
Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay range: $15-$18ph. Offer will be based on experience and interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely to move materials through fabrication and warehouse areas, including bundling and palletizing tasks.
- Equipment Checks: Conduct daily safety inspections of powered industrial trucks.
- Safety First: Consistently follow all site safety rules, especially when using motorized equipment.
- System Navigation: Utilize internal systems to complete picking tasks for both manufacturing and warehouse needs.
- Maintenance: Complete daily equipment checklists and perform basic Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks.
- Communication: Report equipment issues or safety concerns to Line Leads and Shift Supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift Experience: Prior experience and current certification in forklift operation is required.
- Industry Experience: Background in warehouse or manufacturing settings is preferred.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy, especially with Windows-based software, is a plus.
- Technical Ability: Ability to understand written work instructions (SWI/SOP), convert fractions to decimals, read tape measures, and use precision tools like calipers and micrometers is beneficial.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills are important.
- Self-Starter: Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
