What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Swifthaven Community Assisted Living?
Swifthaven Community Assisted Living in Edgerton is looking for dependable, dedicated, trustworthy, motivated housekeeper.
Housekeeping is in charge of a set number of assigned rooms to clean daily (6 rooms per day). Tasks will include cleaning of resident bathroom, sweeping/mopping, vacuuming, wiping down vanity. Cleaning of each residents kitchenette area, garbage(s) in rooms, and stripping and remaking of bedding. Each resident has a clean set of sheets to immediately place on the bed. Light dusting and vacuuming. Housekeeping does laundry for those assigned rooms of the day (only towels, linens, and pajamas).
Housekeeping is also tasked with light building cleaning throughout the week. Dusting of furniture, salon, vacuum hallways etc.
Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-2pm(part time). No weekends, no holidays. You would adjust the cleaning schedule accordingly to accommodate for a weekday Holiday. Hours are semi flexible for the right candidate.
Candidate must be at least 18 years of age, and able to pass a caregiver background check.
