Are you ready to dive into a new career? SwimJim is hiring Pool Technicians! No experience is required—we will provide all the training you need. This role is perfect for motivated individuals looking to build their skills while maintaining pools for safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain Pool Cleanliness : Perform essential cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming pool surfaces, brushing walls, and cleaning filters to keep pools in pristine condition.
Balance Water Chemistry : Learn to test and adjust water chemical levels (chlorine, pH, alkalinity) to ensure pools meet safety and health standards.
Inspect Pool Systems : Assist in inspecting pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automatic systems, to identify and report any malfunctions.
Perform Routine Equipment Maintenance : Help maintain pool equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as needed.
Troubleshoot Issues : Work with experienced technicians to diagnose and resolve minor issues, gaining hands-on experience with pool systems and operations.
Customer Interaction : Communicate effectively with customers to address basic questions, explain maintenance procedures, and provide exceptional service.
Keep Detailed Records : Document all maintenance activities, water test results, and any observed issues to ensure proper follow-up and compliance with company protocols.
Learn and Grow : Engage in company-provided training programs to enhance your technical skills and knowledge about pool systems, safety, and customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
No prior experience is necessary—we’re looking for candidates willing to learn!
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Able to stand on feet and walk around for 8 hours a day.
COMPENSATION
19.00-$21.00 / hr
Full-time, hourly / Part-time, hourly
